METHUEN — All Care's 16th annual Golf Tournament raised $60,000 to benefit All Care Hospice community programs. The team from Borislow Insurance of Methuen, James Jandl, Tracy McBride, Jennifer Borislow and Mark Gaunya, won awards for the Best Mixed Foursome.

HAVERHILL — Pentucket Bank of Haverhill has earned a 5-Star Superior rating from BauerFinancial Inc. of Coral Gables, Fla., an independent bank rating and research firm. The 5-Star rating is based on the overall financial picture of the bank.

NORTH ANDOVER — General manager of the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston, Michael Jorgensen of North Andover, honored children of hotel employees for their outstanding academic achievement at the hotel's Academic Achievement Awards.
Twenty-six children in grades ranging from kindergarten through high school were welcomed and praised for their academic excellence.


Ken and Josephine Peterson have expanded their residence so they can offer training in karate and martial arts. The addition provides one outdoor (weather permitting) and two indoor training areas. Facilities are provided for those who wish to wait while class is in session. The school offers classes three days a week for ages 4 to senior.
