Alvarez provides some needed offense

WORCESTER, Mass. — Central Catholic senior co-captain Michael Alvarez could sense victory after he netted his 3-pointer with 2:55 remaining to bring his team within one point at 51-50.
"All I was thinking about was that we were going to win this game," he said. "That shot right there made me believe that we were going to take this no matter what. We were going to be state champions."
